Students Give their Time to Read to Pre-School Students

The Child Learning Center (CLC) students were treated to story telling (photo left) and pumpkin carving activities by 12 eighth-grade students from St. Stephen's Episcopal School of Wimberely on Friday, October 24.

The eager volunteerism of the students permeated the classroom as they gave their abundant high energy to help CLC staff members decorate and transform the CLC into a Halloween playground for week-long Halloween activities.

"The children were pleasantly surprised when they arrived at the CLC after the St. Stephen's students decorated the room with Halloween decor," said Melva Ramirez, CLC coordinator. "The students were very helpful and the children enjoyed their special guests."
