Our Wallace Mallory Clinic provides primary, maternity and preventive healthcare, social work services and educational programs by a bilingual staff in a homelike, relaxed environment. Our services are designed for individuals and families who are not covered by health insurance and are offered at affordable rates without regard to immigration status.

The clinic works in collaboration with local hospitals and clinics such as Brackenridge, the Seton Neighborhood Clinic system, People's Community Clinic, Planned Parenthood and many other community organizations to meet the healthcare needs of the community we serve.

Pediatric and Family Services
We offer physicals and care for minor illnesses to children and adults.

Prenatal and Women's Services
El Buen provides complete prenatal care for the expectant mother and well-women exams including pap smears and referrals for breast exams. We have an excellent relationship with Brackenridge Hospital, where most of our expectant mothers deliver their babies or go to if they have a high risk pregnancy.

Immunizations and Screening Services
We offer immunizations to children and adults, pregnancy testing, and tuberculosis screening. Anyone can receive immunizations and tuberculosis screenings. Pregnancy testing is open to all women.

Childbirth Education Classes
Childbirth education classes are offered continuously on a four-week cycle. Presented in Spanish, they include prenatal nutrition and exercise, prepared childbirth techniques and preparation for breastfeeding and for parenting the newborn. The classes are fun, informal in nature, and a great way to meet other parents-to-be.
