Applied Materials Group Forms Partnership With El Buen
Recently, Applied Materials Community Affairs made a generous grant of $5,000 to the El Buen Samritano's food pantry. Gil Acosta, member Hispanics In Partnership (HiP) at Applied Materials, worked with El Buen to ensure that the grant would have the greatest impact for clients in need. Gil and several HiP members made the check presentation at a luncheon on September 21, 2004. In addition to this grant, the group plans on volunteering with El Buen on a regular basis.
