Primary Needs Services addresses the most basic human need - food - for working Hispanic families struggling to become self-sufficient. This is often the first contact some clients have with El Buen. The food they receive is a warm and welcome reminder that someone cares about their survival.
These services are possible because we receive groceries from the Capital Area Food Bank at a minimal cost and generous donations from area churches, schools, businesses, individuals and organizations. The program is supported by the love, skill, and commitment of many volunteers, who collect and distribute canned goods.
Emergency Food Pantry
The Emergency Food Pantry provides emergency support for working-poor families and individuals who sometimes have to choose between buying groceries or paying bills. Groceries are available for families and individuals.
Distribution Hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9:00 am – 12:00pm
