A case worker provides on-site evaluation and assessment of client needs and links them to resources in the community, especially for health-related issues. Clients can also receive case management for long-term problems. Social work services provided at El Buen include:
- Case management
- Short-term counseling
- Information and referral to community resources
- Labor and delivery tour for prenatal patients
- As resources permit, car seat education classes and support groups
