Success Story: The Bartolo-Roque Family

El Buen Samaritano, Medical Home for Many

Escalating health care costs are a stark reality for many families, especially for uninsured families such as the Bartolo-Roques. The Wallace Mallory Clinic at El Buen Samaritano continues to fill the widening gap in affordable health care in the community by offering affordable and culturally competent health care programs and services.

Thirteen years ago, Lidia and Jaime Bartolo-Roque found themselves with no access to health care, limiting their health care resources as their family began to grow. Soon thereafter, they learned about the Wallace Mallory Clinic, and since then have called the clinic of El Buen their medical home.

"I love the care I receive at the clinic because the doctors have a genuine concern for my health and the health of my children," said Mrs. Bartolo-Roque.
