The Wallace Mallory Clinic provides primary, maternity and preventive healthcare by a bilingual staff in a homelike, relaxed environment. Our services are designed for individuals and families who are not covered by health insurance and are offered at affordable rates without regard to immigration status. Our volunteer opportunities include:

Physician
The clinic welcomes the following types of volunteer physicians:

  Family Practice

  Internal Medicine

  OB/GYN

  Nurse Practitioner (MUST be bilingual)

Requirements:

  Physicians must be in good standing with the State Board and carry their own malpractice insurance.

  Bilingual skills are preferred, but translators are available if necessary. Nurse practitioners are required to be bilingual.

Medical assistant
We welcome certified medical assistants or those who have prior work experience in a physician's office.

Requirements:

  Medical assistants must agree to a 6-month commitment in our health clinic.

  Bilingual skills are required.

Clerical/ General Office Assistant
Volunteers will assist either in filing or answering phones, completing data entry and greeting patients as needed.

Requirements:

  Bilingual skills are not required for those who wish to file only, but those who wish to have patient contact (answering phones, greeting patients) must be bilingual.

  Data entry volunteers must have working knowledge of computers and prior data experience is preferred.
