Behavioral Health Lead: Donna Shanor, LCSW, LCDC
Shanor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She holds a bachelor’s in social work from the University of Oklahoma and a master’s in social work with a clinical concentration from The University of Texas at Austin. Shanor is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Primary Care Medical Providers
Sarah Buttrey, M.D.
Buttrey received her medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 1999 and completed a family medicine residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2002. Buttrey holds a bachelor’s in comparative literature from Brown University. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Physicians for Social Responsibility and the Physicians for a National Health Program.
Service Line Director: Silvia E. Muñoz, PhD., RN, FNP-C
Muñoz holds a doctorate in philosophy and a master’s and a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, the American Public Health Association and the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Muñoz also serves on the Any Baby Can Community Advisory Board.
Krysta Peterson, MPH, MMSc, PA-C
Peterson received a master’s of medical science from the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program and a master’s in public health from the Yale School of Public Health in 2014. She graduated with a bachelor’s in kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. Peterson is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Jacqueline Santos, FNP-BC
Santos holds a master’s of science in nursing from Texas A&M University. She graduated with a bachelor’s of science in nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2002. She is part of the American Heart Association and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
Jennifer Umanzor, MSN, FNP-C
Umanzor has a master’s in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Emergency Nurses Association and the Austin Advanced Practice Nurses Organization.
